Alex Thompson

Alex Thompson is an experienced accountant at Sorrento Strategic Accounting, where he has been providing trusted financial guidance for the past eight years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and is currently pursuing his CPA qualification. Alex has deep knowledge and practical experience across all areas of tax, GST, and superannuation, working with a wide range of clients—from sole traders to companies. He’s particularly passionate about supporting businesses in the music and creative industries and finds great reward in watching his clients grow and thrive. Outside of work, I have a love for music and community to life as a board member of The Push, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering youth engagement through contemporary music.
