Elise Reitze-Swensen and Rosie Taylor are percussionists, music producers, and educators who perform together as the multi-award-winning electronic duo Feels. In 2017, they co-founded WOMP (Women of Music Production), a national music community supporting women and gender-diverse producers.
WOMP began as a response to the lack of representation and recognition for women in electronic music and music technology. It has since grown into a national platform with over 700 members across Australia and New Zealand, offering workshops, showcases, and opportunities to learn music production in a safe and inclusive environment.
WOMP has curated stages at major events including Perth Festival, Falls Festival, and EMC, and hosted over 60 events across Australia and New Zealand. In 2022, they launched the annual WOMP Writers Camp, held at WAAPA, which continues to grow each year. In 2024, WOMP was recognised nationally by the Music Producers and Engineers Guild with the Outstanding Community Award, highlighting their impact on the Australian national music industry.
