As inaugural Director of Music Australia, Millie is charged with standing up and leading the dedicated new investment body within Creative Australia, to support the Australian contemporary music industry.
Millie started her career in the Entertainment Department at Macquarie University Union, followed by booking iconic live music venues – the Annandale and Hopetoun Hotels. She spent a decade working in artist management, was the first employee for the Association of Artists Managers and Creative Director for MusicNSW.
As Executive Producer, Sounds Australia for almost fifteen years, Millie was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the national export initiative worldwide.
