“Ricky Neil Jr. is a Noongar man from Kinjarling (Albany), Western Australia. Born in 2001, he is the youngest of three brothers, whom he credits for inspiring his love of music. Now 24 years old, Ricky has been performing in various forms since the age of 11. Passionate about his craft, he is active in the Perth live music scene, backed by a dynamic band and known for bringing major energy to stages both large and small.
Ricky is also active in the South West theatre scene. Fresh from a season with Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company, he is also recognised for his work with West Australian Opera, starring in Noongar-language productions Koolbardi wer Wardong and Wundig wer Wilura alongside Booxkid (Jared Wall).”
