Sam Shaw

Sam Shaw has worked in the music industry for more than 16 years across venue booking, festival programming, and touring. He first cut his teeth running club nights at 18 before joining Century Venues part-time, programming The Vanguard in Sydney. He went on to become full time Event Manager before moving into venue bookings across the groups iconic Sydney theatres, The Enmore, Metro and Factory.

At Secret Sounds, Sam progressed from Tour Coordinator to General Manager of Touring and expanded into festival programming with Falls Festival and Spin Off Festival. He also delivered curation of brand-led initiative such as Smirnoff’s Future Fresh and Jack Daniels’ Make It Count.

More recently,  following the company’s integration with Live Nation, he’s stepped into a Promoter role, working with the likes of Tove Lo, Dominic Fike, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender, Aurora, The Last Dinner Party, Gorillaz, The Avalanches, Wet Leg, DMA’s, and Ayesha Madon.
