Tanya Ransom

Tanya Ransom is a seasoned songwriter, performer, and self-managed Folk/Alt-Country artist based on Wadandi Boodja, following two decades living and working in the Kimberley region. A strong advocate for regional music, she has dedicated much of her career to mentoring emerging artists in project management, recording, releasing, touring, and career development. Tanya has been both a recipient of the APRA Women in Music Mentorship Program and a mentor and has collaborated with WAM to deliver songwriting workshops across Broome and the South West. Alongside her own touring and recording career, she works as Events Manager with Always Good Nights, presenting live music throughout regional Western Australia.
