Tyler McLoughlan

Music Supervisor / Artist Manager
The Sound Pound / Bobby Alu

Tyler McLoughlan is a Brisbane based music supervisor for film, television and advertising, and educator of music rights for both music creators and music users. With 20 years of experience, Tyler has worked on projects including music supervision for Billabong; Thou Shalt Not Steal (Stan); Lunatics (Netflix); Incarceration Nation, Bowled over: A Dragumentary, Robbie Hood (SBS); Retrograde, Content (ABC); and advertising campaigns for Telfast, Tourism & Events Queensland, Suncorp, RACQ, The Natural Confectionery Company, and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic bid.

As an artist manager, Tyler looks after the international career of tropical roots artist Bobby Alu – a hugely versatile singer, ukulele strummer and drummer who has toured extensively in North America and Europe for the past decade. In collaboration with Breakfast Shirts, the independent team created the widely embraced, milk-brand-sponsored Breakfast Tour concept in 2024, flipping the script on the traditional touring model. Tyler particularly loves operating in the space between rights management and artist management through demystifying copyright and dreaming up innovative income stream strategies for creatives.
